About Sacred Soul

Mang series
Rated R (blood and gore, intense violence, partial nudity)

Ryga is an immortal man in current-day society.  Immortal people have been appearing occasionally in the world.  Whenever a person drinks even a drop of the Water of Life, which is water from the Fountain of Youth, they are stopped in time, never aging and healing all wounds.  The Water of Life can evaporate from the Fountain of Youth, often turning into rain and entering select reserves of drinking water.

Occasionally, a few people in the world unknowingly ingest the Water of Life, becoming immortal.  A special raindrop-shaped mark appears on each immortal's body called an Immortal's Mark.  Ryga's personal mission is to seek immortals out and bring them to his private school.  He personally trains each immortal to work through the pain of wounds while helping them find their own special way to help the mortal people of the world.

Ryga has a special program in his school.  He helps each immortal individual deal with the pain of wounds level by level.  He starts with low levels of pain (a needle prick) and works slowly toward high levels of pain (extreme bodily destruction).  He sends them on missions to help people depending on the level of pain they can endure.  While on these missions, immortal people find their own purpose in life, learning to use their powers in different ways.  Ryga may be the teacher, but the students will have to learn the final lesson for themselves.

Ryga's favorite student, Machi (or Chi for short), is an immortal teenage girl.  She supports Ryga's personal mission and tries her hardest to work through her pain.  She wants to reach the level that Ryga has: to work through any amount of pain.  Ryga works with Chi the most out of anyone, but only inflicting the levels of pain that she specifically asks for.  The relationships between the students and Ryga grow over time and they all work toward their personal goals.
